Sorr\u00e9:<\/span> the birth of 3 beautiful houses<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The story began in the summer of 1979<\/strong>, when our grandparents and our mother, Marie-Pierre Delfieu, bought a lovely plot of land on the banks of the Canal du Midi<\/strong>, a 15-minute walk from the Farinette beaches in Vias. They welcomed their first holidaymakers in tents and caravans. It’s the first season of Camping l’Air Marin<\/strong>! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In those days, comfort was basic: no sanitary facilities, no shade and no swimming pool! But holidaymakers came for the warmth of the welcome, the chance to meet new people and the friendly atmosphere, and we know that today it’s still what our loyal customers come to us for. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our father, Claude, soon joined the adventure and created Domaine Sainte V\u00e9ziane<\/strong>, a pretty residential park with chalets and tall umbrella pines. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Our parents are both driven by the desire to offer their customers memorable vacations<\/strong>. Right from the start, they listened to their customers, attentive to their needs, and constantly on the lookout for new and improved ways of satisfying them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every winter, they transformed the site, planting vegetation, installing new leisure facilities, improving communal areas and introducing greater comfort, notably through the first mobile homes<\/strong>, which were to become increasingly modernized. Their aim: to make holidaymakers’ stays ever more enjoyable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2010, the family expands: after l’Air Marin and le Domaine, it’s the Mas des Lavandes<\/strong>, a haven of peace in the middle of the hectic Valras resort, that completes our offer. The challenge was considerable, as the campsite had been forgotten and downgraded at the time, but it was without counting on our father’s passion to turn it into the beautiful 4-star<\/strong> establishment it is today. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Passing on a passion<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

My sister and I<\/strong> joined this wonderful family adventure in 2016<\/strong>. It’s by looking at old photos of our campsites<\/a> that we realize the transformation they’ve undergone, and that we draw our daily desire to continue to make these beautiful places grow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, our parents have passed on to us the fruits of their labor<\/strong>, and it is with the same passion<\/strong> that we continue to carry out the mission entrusted to us: to make our sites into exotic vacation destinations where our customers are welcomed as if at home<\/strong>, surrounded by a team of attentive staff. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warmth <\/strong>and proximity<\/strong> are and will remain our guiding principles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Today, the outdoor hotel industry is seeing the emergence of large, impersonal groups. For our part, we want to remain independent<\/strong>, because we’re too attached to our values as a family-run business. With us, customers are families, stories, not booking numbers.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, to give greater visibility to our human-scale campsites, we naturally decided to create our own brand, so that our 3 houses – the Finca, the Domaine and the Mas – could be easily identified as belonging to the same family and sharing the same values. As a result, each campsite has its own story to tell: each has its own identity, linked to its environment and themes, and we’ve kept these specific characteristics, because our aim is not to standardize. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sorr\u00e9<\/strong>, a name that sounded obvious<\/strong> to us. It’s the translation of the word “s\u0153ur”, in the langue d’Oc<\/strong>. Languedoc, our sun-drenched region that is so dear to us and so popular with holidaymakers. This name also inevitably evokes the Family, the one we are, my sister and I, the one we form with our teams and all those we welcome to our 3 homes. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

So, an umbrella brand for 3 addresses appreciated by a loyal clientele, and which boasts 1st<\/sup> place on Tripadvisor for all 3 establishments<\/strong>. Today, more and more of you are becoming regular customers and joining our big family, and we thank you for it. Every day, you help to write the history of our family-run group, and this loyalty is surely our greatest recognition, since it’s the fruit of hard work and love for our profession and our region.
